aphrodisiacs
Food and drink have long been associated with love and the ability to
increase sexual desire and passion. Fruits, vegetables, and spices,
herbs, seafood, and alcoholic beverages all have their place on the
romance menu.
Some reasons why certain foods are considered aphrodisiacs are
the shape, color, spiciness, and aroma. Aroma is especially
important for men -- the smell of pumpkin pie, lavender, and vanilla
have been shown to increase blood flow to you-know-where!
One important point, though, men -- the traditional "manly" meal
with lots of fatty red meat is a anti-aphrodisiac. After consuming
a fatty meal, testosterone levels can plumet 30%! Stick to the
light foods when romance is in the air!
As for alcohol, a little is all that is needed -- too much will just
put you in a stuptor. Champagne is the classic aphrodisiac beverage,
known as the "the drink of love."
On to the foods!
